The View From Outside


The View From Outside was a series of three durational solo performances created for visitors to discover as they explored the house at Lyme Park. Part of Live at Lyme, a series of pop-up performances to celebrate the life of and times of Thomas Legh, The View From Outside brought into focus the lives of the servants at Lyme as they prepared for Thomas' 21st birthday party, looking in from the outside.

Commissioned by Trust New Art, the National Trust's programme of contemporary arts and produced in partnership with Waterside Arts Centre.
